Operation Desert Storm
The Gulf War started on January 16,1991. The US strategy during Operation Desert Storm was to strike fast and move quickly. This war was far more advanced than the previous war fought decades before, the Vietnam War, thanks to robotic weaponry. The Iraqi army attacked Kuwait before America was officially allowed to defend Kuwait. This military operation, called Operation Desert Storm, was designed and implemented to free the people of Kuwait and remove the Iraqi military.
